MENIFEE VALLEY/GOLDEN TRIANGLE AMATEUR RADIO CLUBS WINTER FIELD DAY/PICNIC January 27, 2024
The MVARC/GTARC Winter Field Day and Picnic will occur Saturday, January 27. The location is La Ladera Park, 29629 La Ladera Road in Menifee. Click here for map link.
Set-up will begin at 8:00 AM, and Field Day contacts will start at 11:00 AM. Lunch will be around Noon.
MVARC and GTARC will provide pizza, soft drinks, water, and ice. You and your family are welcome. If you wish, please bring a side dish or dessert you would like to share.
There will be space for several portable radio stations. If you wish to set up a station you will need a table and chairs for yourself and spectators. There are trees and a limited number of shade structures available, but no power. Please be sure there are no tripping or RF exposure hazards with your equipment!
Volunteer Examiners may be available if you or anyone you know would wish to become a Ham or upgrade an existing license. Please let us know in advance so we can be sure to have enough VEs.
Radio programming and a swap meet table will also be available.
Please join us for a day of fun, good food and “Hamming!”
