If anyone would like to join me at Skyview Park on Satuarday July 29th at 7am. (break down 8:45am) I will be setting up a small portable station. FT-897d/G90, Alpha Vertical Antenna and batteries. Lets work some GARY LINE.
I will monitor "447.400- Pl 100.0 FM / Fusion" and the GTARC Vhf repeater.
Over the last couple of days. 17m - 10m has been open for day time opperations. POTA is showing 5 scheduled stations working on the 29th. Find out more about Parks On The Air.
May catch some SOTA as well.

Portable Setup
Hi, I’m new here. If you do this again, I’d be very interested in joining you. I just blew all the dust off of my old 817. It has never seen much use and I’d like to remedy that.

There is a plan in the making for January 13 2024 for a "What do you use if you had to operate from your vehicle?"
Should include:
Mobile antenna, additional extended range antenna like drive on mast , push up poles, tripod etc.
Food, clothing, toiletries, lighting, shade, heat, table, chair, water
